Kari's Morning Smoothie
As many of you know, I’m a huge proponent of high-quality, healthy foods. Choosing colorful, fresh ingredients helps lead to a nutritious diet. This morning smoothie gets my day off to a great start, enabling me (and my family!) to feel energized and ready to tackle the day.
2 scoops protein powder (I prefer a plant-based vanilla, but you do you!)
2 scoops collagen powder
1/8 tsp ceylon cinnamon
1/8 tsp ground ginger
1/8 tsp turmeric
1 Tbs unsweetened cocoa powder
1 Tbs unsweetened, unsalted almond butter
2 cups fresh greens (spinach, kale, etc)
1/2 avocado (prefer cubed, frozen)
1 cup ice
3 cups water or unsweetened dairy-free milk (almond, coconut, oat, etc)
Blend all ingredients. Enjoy immediately. Serves 2.
